Simon has featured on TV, radio and national press as a fitness advisor. Simon promotes the CrossFit method of conditioning. He particularly enjoys the challenge each workout sets, the camaraderie and support in the sessions, and the community CrossFit helps builds. “I just want to make sure that our clients get the safest, most effective workout, and get the benefits of our Dragon CrossFit community”.

Simon has been in the Health and Fitness industry over 14 years, is inspired daily by the effort and commitment clients put into their workouts, and the benefits clients get from CrossFit. Not only does CrossFit train the body completely, it is based on achieving personal goals, which provides the mental motivation needed to keep our clients pushing above and beyond their current set of “limits.” There are no glass ceilings here.

“Quite simple, I haven’t found anything that delivers results like CrossFit. If I find something that delivers better than CrossFit, I will without hesitation offer that to my clients ”

Dan Edwards - Intern

BSc (hons) Sport and Exercise Science – UWIC
Community Sports Leader

Dan is a recent CrossFit addict who believes that elite fitness should be available to everyone who has the courage to pursue it.

From training out of his friends’ garage gym, Dan got a feel for the sense of community that the CrossFit methodology embodies and began to train harder and harder alongside his friends.
However, moving away to university saw Dan searching for a new gym, more friends and new experiences; all of which he found at Dragon CrossFit. Since joining DC Dan’s strength, power, flexibility, nutrition, confidence and overall fitness have dramatically improved and he has seen the benefits. Feeling better than ever, a passion for coaching developed and with the fantastic environment at DC this was nurtured into potential and opportunities presented themselves.

Dan competed in the 2010 CrossFit Velocity Divided We Fall Games with a successful team from Reading. Stepping up to the mark to help out a CrossFit team in need of an extra member; this is what the community is all about!

“Since starting CrossFit my way of thinking has changed; I attack everything in my day-to-day life with the same intensity and commitment as I do in the gym. CrossFit is not just my training programme, it’s my way of life.”
